Class of 1964…………..”forever young at heart……..”
As time moves ever so steadily forward, we look to another year of health and happiness for all. We’re now in our 46th since leaving Stevens High School. Although it was an off year for celebrating as a class, it’s a time were we should try to stay reconnected with former classmates that we may have re-established contact with over the past years.
Looking ahead to our 50th in the year 2014, the intent is to try to get as many of our classmates back for what should be a gala event. Still a few years away, planning can never be too early. As we are scattered all across the United States and Canada, it takes a little bit of forethought to make arrangements, especially when many no longer have family connections to the area. So at this point, at least file away the first part of June, 2014 in the back of your mind for this significant class milestone.
Staying with our 50th reunion theme, come 2014 we would like to be able to make a sizable donation to the Alumni Association on behalf of our class. It is but a small way to leave not only a class legacy, but to help others in their pursuit of a higher education. So how do you do it? It’s simple. Just send a check, made payable to “Stevens High School Alumni Association – class of 1964” to:
Claremont Savings Bank
145 Broadway Street
P.O. Box 1600
Claremont, NH 03743
Please include a brief note asking the bank to deposit the check to the Class of 1964 account. If each of us donates annually, in 2014 we will be able to achieve our plan for a generous monetary gift! For as little as $25 annually, it truly would amount to a significant amount. Jump on the bandwagon and send in your 2010 donation today. Together, we CAN make a difference!
And, your donations are tax deductable.
Missing classmates………..many of our classmates are unaccounted for. Please check the Alumni Associations web site for a list of those “missing”. If you know the whereabouts of any on that list, let me know and I’ll more than gladly contact them. It would be wonderful if many of our “missing” classmates could be located so they could attend our reunion events.
If you questions, comments, or suggestions, please pass them along to me at:
Sincerely, Tom Osipowich
