*  These parade rules were given to us by Police Chief Alexander Scott in January 2010.  These rules come from the state and have been in existence since 2007 but the city has not enforced them.  To be in compliance with their insurance coverage, these rules need to be adhered to.  The Alumni Association has always carried insurance on the parade and we now need to show proof of insurance to the City of Claremont as well.   Mr. Scott is more than willing to work with us to resolve safety issues and make the parade a safe and fun event.

If your class is planning a float this year PLEASE read these rules and if there are any questions contact Bob Stringer.  The Stevens Alumni Association wants to continue to make this event an enjoyable and entertaining day for everyone and will work with classes to make all entries safe and secure from injuries or mishaps.
